Power Cuts - Power Rangers Time Force


Welcome to the Power Cuts section. Although this is mainly for us UK fans others may also find it interesting. Power Rangers is shown mainly (at the moment) on Jetix. The problem is that Fox Kids / Jetix edit some of the episodes. Sometimes they have to so that they follow OFCOM rules which every channel which is licensed to broadcast in the UK must do, but most of the time is for some stupid unknown reason.

In the edited version there is a cut just after Jens fight with Nadira when Nadira teleports away. One second Jen is being held down by two Cyclobots and then the next she's leaning against a wall. What you didn't see was the Cyclobots kicking Jen in the stomach which made her hit the wall.

One of the most stupid cuts I've ever seen is in the begining of this episode. In the edited version it cuts straight to Jen all sweaty after working out in the park. What you didn't see was Jen punching and kicking the tree while imagining it was Ransik.


More than meets the eye
Did you noticed that part of the fight between Jen and Ransik is cut? What you didn't see was a struggle between Jen amd Ransik.

Never before seen in the UK!
This episode has as far I know never been aired in the UK. In every airing of Power Rangers Time Force on Fox Kids/Jetix this episode is skipped. Most people believe that this is never shown due to the excessive use of flashing lights during this episode. Flashing lights is a big no no on the OFCOM regulations. Usually on tv shows and movies that air on tv scenes with flashing lights are either slowed down to reduce the flashing or have been dimmed slightly.
