Power Cuts - Power Rangers In Space


Welcome to the Power Cuts section. Although this is mainly for us UK fans others may also find it interesting. Power Rangers is shown mainly (at the moment) on Jetix. The problem is that Fox Kids / Jetix edit some of the episodes. Sometimes they have to so that they follow OFCOM rules which every channel which is licensed to broadcast in the UK must do, but most of the time is for some stupid unknown reason.

CutDuring the fight when the rangers first get their new space weapons they all take turns calling for their weapon and using it except for TJ in the edited version.What you didn't see was TJ calling for his Astra Axe and using it in the fight against the Quantrons.

A Ranger Among Thieves

Carlos did what?
During the fight on the simudeck just after they call for thier space weapons.Carlos is seen jumping in the air ready to strike the monster with his Lunar Lance.Then it cuts straight to ashley saying "Carlos let me help".What you didn't see was the monster getting stabbed with the Lunar Lance.

Arrggh my head
Later in the episode when Andros is morphed and fighting Ecliptor on his own Ecliptor is seen hitting Andros.Andros then falls into a puddle of water.In the edited version it then cuts to Carlos shouting "Andros we're coming" while running down a hill with the other rangers to help Andros.What you didn't see was Ecliptor stomping Andros on the head.

The Rangers Mega Voyage

Bye-bye, Darkonda
In the Fox Kids airing of this episode, the rangers launch the Mega-V3 missile and then an explosion is shown. What they cut was Darkonda crying out in pain and falling backwards before the explosion.


Rangers Gone Psycho

How did we get in here?
When the rangers are fighting evil versions of themselves outside a warehouse.Just after Andros calls for his Spiral Saber.The evil red ranger strikes Andros in the back with his sword.Then in the edited version it cuts straight to inside the warehouse with the evil blue ranger shouting Psycho Spin.Now what you didn't see was that the evil red ranger kicking Andros into the warehouse and both fight with their sabers.

Hey how did we do that?

When the evil space rangers change into the Psycho Rangers in the edited version it's a now you seen them as evil space rangers and next thier the Psycho Rangers.What they cut and you didn't see was that there were bolts of lightning that surrounded the evil space rangers while they were changing.


Missing in Action
Just after the rangers goto rescue Zhane at the library.Right after Zhane tries to cut open the ropes that are used to tie him up.It jumps straight to him freeing himself.What you didn't see was quiate a long fight between the rangers and the Psychos.
