Power Cuts - Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue

Welcome to the Power Cuts section. Although this is mainly for us UK fans others may also find it interesting. Power Rangers is shown mainly (at the moment) on Jetix. The problem is that Fox Kids / Jetix edit some of the episodes. Sometimes they have to so that they follow OFCOM rules which every channel which is licensed to broadcast in the UK must do, but most of the time is for some stupid unknown reason.

Operation Lightspeed	PRLR Episode 1
	Details Number of Cuts Found = 1
Don't try this at home There is only a small cut in this episode. After Carter gets thrown by the monster into lampost it then cuts to him lying on the ground trying to get up. What wasn't shown in the UK was that after Carter is thrown there is a 7 second scene of all the other rangers getting kicked by the Batlings.

Riding The Edge	PRLR Episode 4

Bang bang you're dead In the UK version, during the fight between the morphed angers and the batlings there was a cut. The Green Ranger is shown figting then it cuts to the Yellow Ranger. What you didn't see was that the Pink Ranger was shown using her blaster to shoot the batlings

A Matter Of Trust	PRLR Episode 5

No blue for you During the fight with the batlings it shows the yellow ranger fighting the batlings then it cuts to the red ranger fighting the monster. What you didn't see was, after the yellow ranger, the blue ranger kicking a batling in the stomach.

Wheels Of Destruction	PRLR Episode 6

What do you get when you mix Pink and Blue? A CUT At the begining of the episode during the fight with the batlings after the yellow ranger is shown fighting it then cuts to the monster talking. For some reason what you didn't see was the pink and blue rangers fighting the batlings.

You've probally not seen it This episode has, as far I know, only been aired once in the UK on ITV1. In every airing of Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue on Fox Kids/Jetix this episode is skipped. The official reason on why this was never shown on Fox Kids/Jetix is unknown but most think it is due to Dana (Pink Ranger) being held at gunpoint.

The Queen's Return	PRLR Episode 19

Ryan takes the stairs In the Jetix UK version it cuts from the monster and then to Ryan being found by the batlings on the ground. What you didn't see was a fight between Ryan and Vypra where Ryan gets thrown from the top of stairs to the ground. Blue and Yellow follow some fellow During the rangers fight with the batlings, the blue and yellow rangers follow Loki outside. This whole fight scene is cut from the UK version. Carter takes the stairs Straight after the cut above the red ranger follows Vypra up some stairs and then is kicked back down. This is also cut. What have they got against stairs? Axe the way to do it During the fight there is also a small cut of the Titanium Ranger using his axe on the Monster

The Omega Project	PRLR Episode 20

Beam me up! In the Jetix UK version is cuts from the Red Ranger (Carter) saying "not quite" to Ms Fairweather in the lab. What you didn't see was the rangers using the Battle Booster and Olympius being blasted by the beams.
